Divorce
I currently live in California and hail from Texas. I'm active military, thus let my daughter stay behind with her father and my parents (she stays with them more).
I knew divorce was coming (it's been a year but he's delayed it everytime) after I learned when I was in basic he immediately moved in with a high school love of his who has made it public she'd get me in anyway possible.
Today, I got the paper, saying he wants full custody and child support.
This boils down past that though as the papers include she is not allowed to leave the residential area from him and I'm only allowed visitation.
I'm hurt, even more so because he's been abusive control freak to me and I KNOW this is to make me suffer.
All I want is support, by everyone tells me the same thing, you're military and shit happens. I just want someone to cheer me up beyond that.
My poor daughter is the one who will pay most. And I feel so powerless to help her.
