C sec painful even with meds??

Is a c sec super painful even with the pain meds they give u to take home?

Unfortunately. I wouldn't say it is "super painful" but I was definitely still sore for about a week. The pain meds absolutely help though! Sneezing, laughing, and sleeping all kinda sucked for a little while but it does get better.  The doctor told me to walk around the house and to not just lay in bed all day. Walking around a little throughout the day promotes healing. Just try not to do stairs in excess. I was feeling pretty good after about 1-2 weeks. I'm about to have another c section Friday. Heard the second time around isn't supposed to be as bad! Hoping that's true.

It's painful but sore painful. I've had two csection and didn't need use any pain meds my dr prescribed once I left the hospital. The worst part if say is when you have to cough or sneeze,  you feel like your tear. But I used a pillow to put pressure on my belly. I'm looking Into maybe a belly belt this time around though!
