Have you taken back a cheater?

Comment, I'd love to hear stories and opinions  -  Do you regret it? What were your living/children/marriage statuses? Why did or didn't you take them back?

At times I do regret it because I still, after years, don't fully trust him, and won't.... Especially because he lies, and I know he does. 
But I didn't, and really couldn't up and leave because we were married and getting a divorce is way too expensive. 😔

I have and I don't have any regrets! We both grew so much during the time we spent apart afterwards. I learned so much about him and myself through the whole process and now our marriage is better than it ever was. *restoration* ♥

Yes. My ex husband cheated on me on our wedding night with one of his ex's who came to our wedding with the best man. I decided to forgive and make it work, mainly because I was too ashamed to leave him and tell my parents and others what happened. As far as I'm aware that's the first time he cheated on me, but in hindsight it probably happened a lot before that. He also cheated on me the night I was in the hospital after giving birth to our daughter. Our marriage didn't last long. Now, cheat once and he's gone.

Yes, & both times it was a large empty regret that took me years to come back from. I wasn't married to either of them, but they were serious(not so) LT relationships where we lived together. Both of them ended up dumping me eventually for multiple women in polyamorous relationships.  Women they had cheated on me with previously. So now when I date someone I tell them right away that polyamory is a deal breaker,( because one dick is hard enough!) & that we can go no further if the relationship is not going to be monogamous in the future.

Worst choice I've ever made. He was a cheater, drug and alcohol addict. No children, no marriage but an engagement. I'm so glad I got my head on straight and left him. Otherwise I'd be living in a broken down trailer with no money, lots of babies and a house full of drugs.
