Boy or not???? Only 9 weeks and 2 days

On our first ultrasound taken two days ago I measured further along and our little guppy was facing forward so we could see their face and little hands and everything....and by everything I mean EVERYTHING. Supposedly and pretty sure, the tale is gone by 9 weeks but there was something else there, we're thinking boy because of it, but does something show that fast at 9 weeks? Has anyone else experienced this and gender prediction was true or not true?
