Membrane sweep??

Question

Does anyone know if you can request a membrane sweep at 38 weeks and 3 days if the doctor would do one?? I know it varies with doctors but I was wondering if any lady's near my due date have had it done yet!

doesn't hurt to ask! I got one done yesterday at 39+1 at 1cm dilated and nothing has happened yet. Fx you have better luck. :)

I had one yesterday at 39 weeks exactly. I've lost my show but apart from that nothing has happened. I don't feel like it's worked even though it can take up to 48 hours. I'm being induced Tuesday and just wanted to try and see if I could do it naturally first! X

I had one at 37 and 5 and one at 38 and 3

My doctor won't do it until 39 weeks.

It might be a bit early, it all depends on if your body is "ready", if it's not it won't work. I'm having one at 39+5. Fx bubs is ready to go!

I asked my dr to induce me cause my husband was leaving for work for 2 weeks. He said the earliest he could induce me is 38w5d but I'm getting my water broke and pushing pitocin on Friday.
