Nexplanon?

Getting nexplanon. Anybody else have this form of birth control? How did it effect you? Is it effective?

I've had mine for 10 weeks now and I've been bleeding for the last 4. I havent had any side effects other than my really long period.

Had it. Insertion was not bad, but I gained 80 pounds, had terrible cystic acne and anxiety. Other than that, not too bad. I had a lot of other factors going into it, ie quitting smoking, etc. 
Mine actually broke in my arm and I could feel it, it broke in three places. This doesn't effect the efficacy and removal was still easy.
I got rid of it because of the anxiety and general crappy hormone feeling in exchange for the Skyla IUD which was inserted yesterday. 
The hormone they say are more localized and not systemic so they're not coursing through your whole body. That's left to be determined. Again mine is not a complete horror story but just be aware of you are hormone sensitive this may not be for you. Cheers love!

I had implanon and loved it. So nice to not have to worry for 3 years. It's a quick insert, bruises but not too bad.
