From my experience it hurts a child more to have a dad that's in and out of their lives than one who was never there in the first place.

I was 15 when I got pregnant with my son and he up and left me.  Caused me A LOT of problems during my pregnancy with his drama. So when I went into labor He was NOT invited. I called him after and he isn't on his birth certificate. Some men just need to see their baby for things to sink in and with that being said your can't force someone to be a dad. Heck my sins bio dad hasn't seen him since 5 months and my boy turns 4 next week. Don't deny him being a dad of he is a good one! And if he isn't a dad and wants nothing to do with you don't sweat it,  you will find someone who loves you and your child.  My hubby has been there for my son since he was one! And I am preggo with our 3rd child! He doesn't treat him differently from our little girl and I actually asked him if he wanted a little boy and he looked at me and said "I already have one." Do what you think is best! Don't keep that child away from him out of anger, you never want your child to blame you for not knowing its father.

It wouldn't be wrong to not want him around - I think that's a completely okay feeling!! But see what happens after the baby comes. Maybe he'll have a change of heart and genuinely want to be part of his baby's life. If he tries to make it about himself or if he still doesn't show up, then good riddance. Yes, having a loving father in a child's life can make such a difference, but we all know countless stories of single moms who raise their kids well and have other positive male figures in their children's lives to help them with that void. Better to have no connection with a father than to have him be wishy washy, in my opinion. I'm sorry that you even have to be thinking about this, that sucks 😕 But I know you'll figure it out and do great either way! Do what's best for your child.

Depends, maybe you should wait until the baby is born to decied that. A lot guys it doesn't hit that they are dads until the baby is born. The father of my child wasn't really there for me through my pregnancy but once she was born he was there. He comes over to see her and helps me financially with her. See if he comes around when it's born if not then cut him off.

Only you can really make that decision. We are not well informed enough of the situation, not to mention we're strangers! A child should have a father figure in its life of possible. But I don't know you or him or the circumstance so can't say anything really.
