Abortion opinions

I was recently reading a post here on Glow regarding a man wanting a child that his pregnant partner did not want. Now I am posing the question of the situation in reverse.

What if a woman becomes pregnant and (for whatever reason) the man does not want the child? If the man makes a clear argument that he does not want a child at the time, who should be held responsible? Should the woman take on the sole responsibly? Should the man be forced to play a role?

We all know that abortion is ultimately a woman's decision. If the woman doesn't want the child she can have an abortion with or without the partners consent. If she does want the child, she can have it with or without the man's consent. Since the birth of a child could impact both of their lives in a major way, should they both have to come to am agreement in a timely manner? How should it go???

I'm curious to know how you all feel about this.
