A cheating brother in-law? *LONG
This isn't nessecarily a post asking for advice... It's more of a frustration post, a vent, and a question. My husbands brother constantly cheats on his common law wife. They have been together for 10 years and were high school sweethearts and have kids. I know he has cheated on her in the past we all knew including my mother in-law but it wasn't our place to say anything to the wife. At most I think my husband has spoke to him basically saying if your going to do what you do keep it to yourself. My mother in-law has also expressed her disdain for the situation. As a matter of fact my Bil is so bold he actually brought some woman to his mothers house and had sex with her there in the restroom after the MIL expressed that she does not want any other woman in the house besides SIL. My mother in law is an angel sent from the heavens she is just too nice but I thought it was far too disrespectful. As a matter of fact as much as I dislike what my BIL is doing I can care less because no one can do anything about it there are kids involved and a family I would simply rather not know! It is something me and my husband do not speak of much it's like taboo. He understands what I'm saying but looks at it as a "that's my brother, there's not much I can do, this isn't something we should talk about or feel guilty about it's not our problem." Which is true but I just need to VENT! At one point me and SIL didn't get along but I don't wish this type of Backdoor embarrassment on anyone. It also creates doubt for me. I have faith in my husbands faithfulness but scared it may run in the genes when I think about the situation even if I can almost be 100% it's not. He's bad at lying and he couldn't even keep his mouth shut about this not that I wouldn't have figured it out but he let me know anyhow. On one end I agree it's not my problem I shouldn't feel guilty but on the other hand I feel guilty. Ugh am I thinking too hard about it?
