Acupuncture for ovulation?

My therapist recommended I try acupuncture to stimulate ovulation. I'll be starting Clomid next cycle and I'm more a western medicine kind of gal but am willing to try whatever it takes. Has anyone tried and/or had success with acupuncture for fertility?

It does work. I know two women who started ovulating with my acupuncturist last year, so they could ttc while breadtfeeding.

This is the first month I ovulated since getting off bc 10 month ago. I have been doing acupuncture for 4 months? It can't hurt. Just make sure you go to someone who specifically does fertility acupuncture.

I'm still working on it. I've had some fertility acupuncture prior to finding out about a large uterine fibriod that I had surgery to remove. I've just gone on my first cycle of clomid and had an IUI and am seeing my acupuncturist again. She have me some Chinese herbs: dang gui shao yao to help assist in fertility. I figure after 3 years to ttc anything is worth a try. Good luck
