Regional Slang
I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up in the city (ITP) all my life. I don't have a southern accent (unless drunk). But I have pretty funny southern slang.
"Bless your heart." = "you're dumb as sh*t"
"Bob's losing his religion over Betty's drinking!" = "bob's at the end of his rope / beyond frustrated/upset/angry/depressed with Betty's drinking"
"Don't you no never mind!"
Atlanta ones:
"I ain't here to f*ck spiders" = "duh, no sh*t / obliviously"
What about y'all? Do you have regional slang? What is it and what does it translste to? 😄
