Miscarriage?

I think I am having a miscarriage and I am wondering if anyone else has had the same issues and what to expect. I had fairly heavy brown spotting for 3 days, then it turned into heavy red spotting, today is my 3rd day of red. I took a blood test on Monday and my HGC levels were higher than they were the previous week, however my doctor wants me to take another test on Saturday to see where the numbers are going. Has anyone had this experience? A: any chance this pregnancy could still be good? B: if not when will the bleeding and cramping end?
