Depo provera

So I got on the depo shot immediately after my some was born in 2008. I had no period that whole time. In august of 2012 was my last shot. I didn't get a period back for 8 months. Then for another months I'd get a period once every 2 months. I finally got back on a regular cycle and we waited one more year before we actively started TTC. That was 9 months ago! I'm wondering if the depo shot caused some long term affects?? My cycle is like clockwork and I know I'm ovulating because I use opks! I go to my girl Dr. Regularly and everything is always normal!! I don't think they'd tell me that depo is the reason I can't conceive!!! I figured 3 years was plenty of time firbot to be out of my system!! I guess I'm just getting frustrated at this point
