What do you think of the name riley

I recently have been looking at girls name and this one really caught my eye. So what cha think of Riley for a girl?

I've actually only ever heard it as a name for a girl. My friends daughter's name is Riley Jenevieve

Not my cup of tea, probably because every Riley I've ever known has been a boy (except for one girl Rylee I taught in preK), and they were all really terrible kids, except for the one girl. But it's totally your choice- unisex names are becoming much more of a trend. Besides that, I'm sure every name has a bad connotation somewhere in the world, with someone. If we stopped using names when people sad something bad about them, there would be no names left to use. Go with whichever name YOU LOVE!

I love Riley for both! Sadly, the popular bar my husband and I went to in college was Riley's so our friends would never let us live it down if we had a kid named that...

My nieces name is Riley Ann.  I think it works for boy or girl.

I prefer it for a boy. Just a heads up though, Riley is the name of the girl in the new Disney Pixar movie "Inside Out" so it could become even quite popular. Idk if that's a concern for you or not
