Best way to avoid/ get rid of razor bumps??

Hey guys!
I was just wondering if anyone can give me some good advice on how to get rid of (or avoid all )razor bumps.
I've always had problems with them down below, by my bikini area.

It really looks gross to me to have so many scars down there, as well as bumps, and it actually is what held me back from letting my boyfriend eat me out when we first started dating.

He doesn't seem to really mind but it embarrasses me and I'd like for it to be completely smooth down there for once.

I've started using Nair hair removal  down there with a combination of tweasers (to get a few annoying hairs) and razors.

I know this sounds strange but use deodorant down there where you shaved.. just not TOO close to the vagina to avoid a yeast infection. I swear it works though I do it everytime!

Use an electric razor then aloe Vera lotion! Works great! No bumps 😁

Shave with the direction of hair growth, not against like on your legs. I use salicylic acid acne pads from the drugstore to gently exfoliate. They'll help get rid of current irritation and ingrowns and prevent future ones. I wipe the area after my shower, but not on the days I shave that burns. I use witch hazel after shaving to soothe the skin.

I've found using just regular liquid soap works better for me than shaving cream. Also make sure you're not shaving every day. Personally I have to go about 4-5 days between shaves or I will end up with bumps

I use regular soap. Like bar soap. And I buy cheap razors because I feel like they're sharper or something. I also don't shave more then once a week when I do.

I shave once a week, with conditioner instead of shaving cream. I also exfoliate first with sugar or coffee (works great on your legs too) and try to avoid staying in the hot shower for too long after. Shave the same direction the hair grows first, then against the hair. Moisturize with lotion after! pretty much completely eliminated it for me!
