Who else is scared of their baby being ugly.. This isn't meant to offend!

My first child yes I was but he is so cute cant go to the shops with out people telling us.

Now with number 2 only 5 weeks I dont think about it.

I wasn't worried, but I'll admit that among my prayers of healthy babies and the wisdom to raise loyal, respectful, loving, and successful babies I prayed they would be beautiful not only in my eyes and the eyes of my Heavenly Father, but in the eyes of society. I was bullied a lot, told I was "ugly". I tried to shake it off, but I guess it stuck. I walked around for years feeling like a 5 on a scale of 1-10😢. It wasn't until I had my daughter that I felt pretty. She tells me I'm pretty everyday. I'm in the white shirt and yellow skirt.

I cried and cried with my first baby cuz I was scared of that! I have a big nose and I just knew he would get it! He is 7 now and I just found out we're expecting another one and I know I have nothing to be scared about!

Our first baby we thought about it but he came out so cute! Then with my second while pushing I made the comment that I hoped she'd be ugly so I wouldn't want anymore lol but she was beyond cute. Now I am certain we will only have good looking kids ;)

I honestly thought about it a few times earlier on, but now I've been bleeding with clots for a couple days now (no reason why, still have a heartbeat) and my only thought is having a healthy baby :)

I know it's stupid, but my first son is GORGEOUS. He's 5 and his entire life he's been stared at in public, always gets preferential treatment from adults, always has a crowd around him at school. He's starting to notice and is getting quite an ego... Especially because my fiancée's son who is six, is an average looking kid with terrible social skills (we're working on it).

I'm so scared of the new baby being ugly and my older son (who will officially be our middle child) will develop a bigger, more complex ego!

His father was a really handsome con artist sooooo yeah... He comes by it honestly!

Ive had 4 kids and two of my kids were not the cutest at birth but within a few weeks they filled out and were adorable.. they were just were just wrinkles and extra skin at first

Lol of all the things to be concerned about this is probably zero on a list (and should be) you will be so in love with your baby that regardless of what society says is beautiful you will think your baby is perfect. I really wouldn't be the person that focuses on a baby being cute - worry about them being kind, smart, and a good person. I think my son is gorgeous but I'm a lot happier knowing he is a healthy, sweet kid
