What if he lies about the little things. Should I be mad?

A lie is a lie is a lie. Big, small, long, short, fat, plum, slim.. A lie. Is a lie. Maybe not mad, but I wouldn't be able to tolerate it.

Because the truth is ultimate. There is no substitute for the truth, either it is or it isnt.

In my own personal experience, people who lie for no reason tend to be at best unstable and at worst completely insane.

My guys and lies about stupid shit all the time knowing he'll get caught five minutes later. It's like a two year old saying he didn't pee his pants when you can see the pee running down his leg. I confront him but I don't hold it against him too long.

One lie becomes another then another then another. Doesnt matter how big or small they are, they'll all eventually add up and ur won't ever know when their telling you the truth!

Sometimes guys lie about really stupid things to lie about. DH once lied about what he ate for dinner. I demand the truth always but little lies like that, I have to let go of quickly. He hasn't done it since.

I voted yes, but this is circumstantial. 
For example: He lied & said he left work an hour late, when really he was hanging out with a female friend & he didn't want you to be upset about it... I'd be mad. 
He lied & said he was cleaning all day while you were gone & you come home & can tell he didn't really clean at all.. Frustrated? Yes.. mad? No.
You have to let go of some things & not let yourself be angry about EVERY little thing.
