Home birth vs hospital vs birth center

My husband & I were discussing the options available to women when giving birth & which is the safest or most preferred option. Obviously we disagree. Assuming the woman is healthy as well as the baby & she wants to give birth in her desired place, should she be able to regardless of what the husband thinks? Not to say that she doesn't take his concerns into consideration. Maybe they could get educated on the options together... This isn't to settle an argument, just to get ideas & insight. Please discuss.
