CM Question - No Pic

I just started checking my CM for the first time this week. My husband and I just started TTC this month. This is my second full cycle off BC so I'm not sure what my cycle lengths will be like now that I'm off and I'm trying to gauge ovulation. My CM has been watery the past 2 days. I'm on CD 12 and glow says I'm in my fertile window. Checked my CM today and it was watery but a little thicker than it has been. Still not egg white though. Am I getting closer to ovulating? Or have I missed it? I'm not even sure if I will ovulate this month if my body is still trying to adjust from BC...Ovulation kits will be delivered today. So can't test quite yet. Any advice would be helpful!
