Bronchitis or ridiculous heart burn!?

Question

So not only have I been dying from allergies/ sinus infection & been on amoxicillin for 8days & getting no relief! I started having weezing in my chest last night & couldn't sleep due to the amount of pain in my chest! Finally got some sleep after proping myself up @4am. But now I'm not feeling it & my weezing is gone as of right now. Any suggestions?

If you are wheezing, talk to your doctor ASAP. I have allergy induced asthma that has been well controlled for years prepregnancy. While my allergies seem to be ok (I did shots for years and stopped in November), my asthma has flaired. My OB said sometimes pregnancy can cause it to flair. He gave me a new RX for Xopenex (my old inhaler had expired long ago). It's just a rescue inhaler and he said if I was having to use it regularly he would put me on a steroid based inhaler too. So far I don't need the rescue inhaler much but I carry it since I never know when the wheezing will strike.

As far as sinus pressure, I can't use nose sprays like I did before but my OB told me it was OK to use the nedipot. I like the squeeze bottle one and use it every night before bed so I don't get stopped up overnight. It really helps me and I get congested overnight if I don't use it. If you use a nedipot, make sure to do it a minimum of 30 minutes before you lay down. You need it to all drain out before laying flat.

Are you taking Zyrtec or anything for allergy relief? Use of a sinus rinse my be helpful along with saline nasal sprays! I have been suffering the same thing. I work for an ENT and this is what they have suggested and all was cleared by m OB
