Senior quote

So, here's this lovely man, and as highschools do for seniors, the seniors get to have a senior quote. He wanted to officially come out to his parents (they knew already) and found a funny way to do so. The teacher who pulled his quote out was showing homophobia and was dismissing the quotes with references to drugs, alcohol, and sex.

I personally think that his quote was perfectly acceptable and the teacher was out of line. What do you think?
