Nipple piercings

So ive heard that getting your nipples pierced increases their sensitivity, which would be great for me since mine are practically unfeeling. Has anyone gotten it done & experienced this, or heard of it happening with an actual person you know? Thanks in advance! (Sorry if this is in the wrong place, couldnt think of anywhere better.)
