A little long.. Iud- now it's been over 1.5 years.
Wondering if anyone has any advice in this mess before I head to docs Wednesday..
I had a iud placed after my son was born in 09'. About two years ago I started having pains in my stomach. If I had to describe them, it'd be contractions. Exactly like contractions. I could time them and everything.
After about a year of dealing with it, damn near everyday not only during my cycle, I went to my primary care doc and told her about it. She did ultrasounds on everything in my abdomen and everything was fine. I then went to the ob/gyn and said I think my iud is messed up or something. Did an ultrasound, nope it looked fine. So I dealt with it a little longer until my SO and I decided to have a baby. I went and got the iud out and the "contractions" stopped instantly.
Ok now the question.. I had that out in March of 2014. We don't use protection, I'm still not pregnant. Why not?! Did that thing break me?
