Getting induced. Positive stories anyone?

Question

Decided to get induced this Sunday if baby doesn't come by then. Does anyone have positive stories about being induced with pitocin? I'm 3 cm Dilated and about 90% effaced.

I was induced for oligohydramnios and hypertension at 41 wks. We must have been on the verge of labor to begin with because one dose of miso started labor.

They used a Cooks to help the dilation process because the baby wasn't tolerating my contractions very well, but I was only 1 cam dilated. This involved breaking my water, and I rapidly dilated to 4 cm.

A few hours later I was dilated up to 6cm.  Due to the baby's tracing, It started to look I was headed for a c-section, and at that point I got an epidural (between constant position changes and contractions, I figured that if I was probably getting a cesarean anyways and would need a spinal for that, I may as well get the pain relief in the meanwhile).

Ultimately, my midwives and the physician felt it was okay to let labor go as long as the baby was still normalizing between contractions, and I had a vaginal delivery after about 40 minutes of pushing.

My labour was sped up with pitocin. I was stuck at 4cm and the pit got me to 7-8cm in an hour. It made my contractions unbearable and I ended up getting an epidural. Good luck with your labour !!

Was scheduled to be induced Tuesday morning, water broke Monday night so they decided to bump up the induction to get things moving. Started me on oxytocin and I had baby Eric within five hours with ten minutes of pushing.

My induction only lasted 3 hours and I slept through the first 2 hours and I was 0cm my doctor said the induction goes smoother if you're atleast 3cm

Induced with first, was 1cm labour was 15 minutes, induced with second was 3cm labour was 55 minutes :)

I was scheduled to be induced because of medical reasons. I was terrified, but all in all, I had a pretty decent experience. I was started on Pitocon at midnight on 5/29, already 3cm dilated. I delivered 12:04 on 5/30. While 24 hours probably sounds like hell (😂), I actually slept pretty much the entire day away. I had my epidural at 5cm. I had been stuck on 5 for awhile, so they did break my water. I didn't even feel it though.
