Recently stopped the pill

Have been on the pill for 10+ years. Stopped near the end of my pill cycle, so had 2 periods within 2 weeks. According to this app I should be on the last day of my period. No sign of starting yet. Not sure of what I should be expecting. Is it normal to have irregular period cycles in the first few months?  I'm 42, does that matter?  My doc doesn't think I'm near menopause. Just confused, wondering what to expect.
