Should i take a pregnancy test?

Hey Ladies I have neen ttc for about 10 months now. I came off the mirena in aug 2014.  I guess you can say i have regular periods but once in a while im late. My af was supposed to be on 06/06. Im about a week late but i been trying to hold off from taking the pregnancy test since i don't  want to be disappointed again and get a negative. Ive been having cramps and lower back pain and my nipples are sensitive which are all common signs of period coming. I feel like its coming but it doesn't.
