For giggles I took an opk. I'm 8po. I  was ovulating on the 6th  so what up with this

There is always lh in your system that's why u have to watch for the line to be as dark or darker than the line

For an opk to be positive test line must be equal to or darker than the control line x almost always shows a line but this is definitely negative

What do you mean? It's a negative ovulation test. Which would make sense if you're 8DPO.

The line shown looks like the "control" line.  If this doesn't show up, that means the test is not working properly.  Does that answer your question?
