Why are people comparing Rachel Dolezal to Bruce Jenner?

I think it's completely ridiculous to compare the two. I think the issue with Rachel is she lied about her race. No one cares that she embraces black culture and "ethnic" hairstyles. She isn't the first to do it and won't be the last. 
Bruce on the other hand never lied about his sex. He clearly was born a man. He's transgender, not a man who lied about being a woman. Complete ignorance.

They're not comparable. This female lied about her race, was paid money to discuss her struggles growing up as a black female. She was given money and lied to. children and adults alike claiming she knew their struggle. There was no reason to lie and extort money.

It depends on why you're comparing them. Anyone can feel like they were born in the wrong body, be it because the sex was wrong, or the race. Plus, people have be "trying to act black" since the 50s.

On the other hand, this woman was, in fact, not black. I don't know much details, but it sounds like she got a lot of cash for acting as if she was actually black via explaining her "struggles" and what not. Maybe she did for all I know. Idk how long she was doing this, so maybe she rused as a black person for years. Meaning she could have faced some racism at some point. Regardless, I don't know why she was given cash for crying out.

If anything, it just proves we're all just people of equal worth. But that's just my opinion, feel free to add to it.
