Let me know if any of you ladies have MILs like this. When we told her we were pregnant, we told her we weren't going public with it for a little while and she immediately got mad at that. I guess because then SHE couldn't tell others. Just found out the other day that she has told people, even though we told her not to. Well, she is also wanting to throw a baby shower--has a date picked out and everything. I'm grateful, but I haven't made it to my second trimester yet! She's one of those women that you can't stop her from doing anything, so I want to just kick back and wait for the invite, but another issue is she completely hijacked the one bridal shower I had from my sister and step-mom. Like wouldn't let them help, and ordered them to do things for her last minute. Because of this, my sister wants the one and only my baby shower. I don't really feel like putting up a fight with my MIL though, which is what it will turn into. I think I could have two and have my sister's before hers so more people might come. Or just have a better invite list for my sister's because my MIL's will just mostly be HER friends. Any advise?
