Why does he gets so many abscess?

Hi guys! So I'm hopping someone can help me.
My boyfriend is in his mid 20s and he always gets this huge and painful abscesses. 
The docs say that is due to ingrown hair and he is very hairy but he is a very clean person and always keeps his hai trimmed down.  But I'm concerned because he is getting them more often now. Please help:(

Sometimes people just get them. My mom gets them for no reason, so does my sister and my grandma use to in her 20-30s. You can have him try washing with dial or ivey soap or antibacterial soap or baby soap even sometimes help. But some people outgrow them and others don't and they just happen sometimes. Even if their is no ingrown hair sometimes they happen. I had one for no reason deep in the layers of skin and it happened for no reason. Worst pain of my life.

It could be hidradenitis suppurativa I get them all the time and that's what the doctor told me I had it due to ur dead skin cells not shedding but instead clogging pores and lymph nodes

My SO gets them quite regular and they get huge and painful,  we have to get them cut open and drained at dr. But last time they told him to trya bleach bath, meaning a little bleach in bath water and to try a soap from pharmacy for infections.  Good luck

I've been having them off and on since last November. Doc said if you have a wound cover it up before you get in the  shower. I used to get itchy a lot, so i would have open wounds that would later get infected. Since then i dont scratch as much, now im almost abscess free. Doctor said that with time it will eventually go away. Dont try to pop it or push on it because it pushes the bacteria deeper into your skin causing a bigger infection. Also have him do hot compresses on the abscess. Thats all i know about abscesses. Hope this helps.
