Husband getting annoyed

I'm ridiculously excited to get pregnant. Like it is dominating my life. I'll say stuff to my husband like "still no sign of my period" and "do you think I'm pregnant?" And so on and so on. (I'm 1-2 days away from my period but don't want to test until after I miss it.) when I brought it up again today he seemed annoyed and said he didn't want to ride the highs and lows ride (saying when I'm super excited I'm super happy, and then when I get a negative I'm super sad), that I need to be patient, that these things can take time and some people try for years. He's the voice of reason in our relationship (I'm quite high-strung). He's very excited to have a baby too, but unlike me, it doesn't dominate his life.
