Nursery: hang or fold clothes?

Question

Experienced mommas: do you mostly hang or fold baby clothes? Do you see any issue with folding them all? I'm trying to decide if we need just a dresser (no hanging of clothes) or a wardrobe/armoire (some hanging, some folded). Tips? Thoughts?

He he! Baby clothes in our house tend to go from baby to wash to pile and back to baby in an ever-repeating cycle.

We're going to fold only because it works best with the storage we have but before she comes I'm seperating clothes in to bins by size because I can't handle not being organized.

I hang all the sleepers, onsies, and shirts. Everything else gets folded and put into the dresser.

We have a dresser for diapers, white onesies, socks, and tights. I have everything else hanging in the closet. To make sure my husband dresses our baby in matching clothes. I have outfits hanging together ex. Pants, top, and coordinating headband. He will be the one getting our baby ready in the am as I go to work at 7am and he doesn't have rotations/classes until 9 or 11am.

Me personally, I like to hang. We're still gonna get a dresser for some things but I most definitely like to hang babies things, I like the way it looks all together hung up :)

I hang sleep sacks, onesies, shirts, overalls, things like that. I had diapers in the first drAwer on the changing table which I loved. I also had burp clothes and receiving blankets 2nd drawer, and third drawers blankets. In the dresser I had 1 drawer for pants organized in rows by size, second row I had shorts in rows organized by size, then if you have a girl I had a skirt drawer as well. Makes stuff easier to find. I also have one of those closet organizer that hangs down so it doesn't actually take up your clothes hanging space. There I put mittens, socks in the side pockets and Lovies and etc there. I plan to stick with my same plan since it worked so well with my 1st.

I'm planning to fold everything I always slack in hanging stuff so I see it easier to fold baby clothes in a dresser and organize it by months and then separates in drawer the onesies ,dress shirts etc

Hanging takes way more time. I folded mostly everything with my son and will with my daughter too.

I didn't use a dresser with either one until we changed them over to a big girl bed. We hung everything and then I had a hanging storage in the closet for the things that didn't hang well.
