Why wouldn't the ER doctor say it is done
I am 36 and this is pregnancy one for me. Once again I ended up in the ER. The babies should be 7 weeks and 6 weeks 5 days according to the last ultrasound. The ultrasound tech told me there is no heartbeats and it will likely be a loss. The ER doc then comes and says my hcg levels went up (but from 1661 on June 5th to 6000 yesterday) but there was no heartbeat so says I should repeat labs next week and do another ultrasound because it is too early. According to my last period I should be 6 weeks 3 days but the babies were measuring more at the ultrasound on June 5th. I told the ER doc how I couldn't stand my current doctor and had been trying to find another, so I really am afraid to follow up with that office next week. After being in the ER June 5th the doctors office didn't seem to take me seriously at all about possibly miscarring. Now to be told there is no heartbeat and the cramping and bleeding was worse this time I just don't understand why the ER doc wouldn't call it. So scared and frustrated. And honestly not sure I can look at that doctor without flipping out. But no other office will see me unless there is verified heartbeat.
