my best guy friend (now my bf) have known each other since I was. junior in hs and he was a senior. we were close but never dated. I was his prom date, we had a feeling things wouldn't work because he went off to college and I was still in HS. we dated other ppl yet we still remained close. both of our exes cheated on us, we always came to each other for relationship advice (we never told each other to leave our exes at the time) always support for each other. I knew he was the one for me cause I couldn't shake him off my soul no matter how hard I tried. same for him. we started dating May 2012 and through long distance (I'm an Army brat) we made it through.

I was watching Sex and the City one day, and Charlotte said to her friends "Maybe we could be each other's soul mates. Then we could let men be just these great, nice guys to have fun with." Every since then I've been calling this great friend of mine my soulmate ❤️
