Anybody ever have a cyst rupture in there ovaries???

So I had a cyst rupture in not one but both ovaries at the same time... Does anybody know how to actually prevent them.... They are soooo painful!

I have had this happen twice. I had endometriosis both times and eventually had repeated endo surgeries. It sounds worse than it actually was. The pain was awful, but I have had three children since and ttc #4. I'm sorry--I know it can be scary! But truly, this is much more common than we think. Best wishes!

My mom had this happen but only one at a time about 5 years apart. Had to have both of her ovaries removed cause they were covered in cysts. Her and my stepdad had thought about having a kid of their own so the first time it happened they left the other one in there but when it happened the second time they had decided to not have kids so they just removed it

I get them all the time, not much you can do unless they don't pop on their own and get too large. Sucks I know, I have felt one on my right for 2 months now, may have to go in soon :(

I have this happen all the time. Birth control is supposed to help but it never did for me. You can try it if you aren't ttc and it may work really well for you. Other than that, there's tell nothing to do to prevent them

Certain north controls help! I had a cluster of 5 on my left ovary and 1 on my right and had surgery last year. Not a fun surgery since I had 3 incisions on my tummy and tons of stitches and in pain meds every 3 hours, but talk to your OB!
