Corpus luteum cyst

Has anyone experienced a corpus luteum cyst In The first few weeks of pregnancy and thought they were having an ectopic pregnancy? I took 2 tests this morning: 1 dollar store and one Clear blue with weeks estimator. Both bfp and said 1-2 weeks but am having dull left side aches like an ovarian cyst. It's also 7-8 days before expected period so I am a little confused that I've tested positive this early. Any response welcomed!
