I woke up yesterday morning peeing very little every few minutes and it was very painful. I increased my water intake, took some cranberry supplement pills, & have been peeing as soon as it's needed to help flush out the bacteria. The pain went away and I ended up being fine half way through the day. I didn't go to bed until midnight, & have been awake since 2am because I'm in such pain. I decided to go sit on the toilet and just let myself pee whenever it was needed to help relieve some of the pain.... But when I got up I realized the toilet is filled with blood. I'm not on my period. And I'm not mistaking it for my period, because there's only blood when I pee, & it's in my actual pee stream. I'm 18 and live at home with a 2yo but am seriously wondering if I need to wake my parents and get them to watch my son while I go to the ER. It's 4:30am and I have yet to fall back to sleep and my peeing has become more and more frequent yet. Has this ever happened to anyone before?! Why would there be so much blood in my pee?
