Bleeding after d&c

I'm reading that lots of women have continued bleeding after d&c but I'm having the opposite. The way it was explained to me the dr removed pregnancy tissue but left most of my uterine lining (that had built up during the pregnancy) to be shed naturally. She explained they don't scrape the sides too virgorously because they don't want to cause scarring. After the procedure last Wednesday (almost a week ago) I had 1 day of light pink spotting. And then nothing and no more bleeding has occurred. Has anyone else had this? Thinking of calling her today just to be sure thanks!
