Honestly, I wouldn't be comfortable with it. You hear too many stories of best friends and so cheating (best friends can be envious of what you have and unsuspectingly we share too much personal info with them). Not saying they are doing this. What are they doing together without you? Maybe discuss that you would like to be involved.

My best friend and husband get along perfectly so I wouldn't really have a problem with them hanging out without me but to be honest they wouldn't unless they were planning something for me or our son because they don't think it's appropriate. If she came by before I got off work she may hang out to wait for me but she'd never come over just to hang with him unless there was a problem

I personally be okay with my best friend hanging out with my SO without me ONLY because she is his cousin's wife and she's the one that introduced us. They are great friends and I trust her. If that weren't the case I would feel very uncomfortable with it and be a little suspicious.
