long-term birth control
I am 29 now and have been on birth control consistently since age 18 (about 11 years for those who are bad at math like me :)). A large majority of that time I have been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. It has been good for me as far as bc's go. And I have been with my husband for 8 years and married 4 of those years. I am concerned about the long-term health effects of being on bc for so long when hubs and I do want kids, just not for a few more years. I've been reading up on going off bc and I see my GYN tomorrow for a routine checkup. I am going to talk to him more then. But I wanted to see if anyone else has been this long with a bc and what they experienced.
