Pain relief during labor. Opinions please!
I'll be going into labor in 2-4 weeks, since I'm due in 4 weeks & already dilated. I'm a FTM & I've talked to my doctor about other pain relievers besides an epidural due to I don't want one. I was given the options of Morphine, Stadol or Demerol. Morphine helps me with pain for sure, because that's what I was given when I had kidney stones.
According to other moms who aren't first time moms, what pain management is best that's not an epidural?
