Thinking of putting more kids on hold till we can parent together...

My husband and I cannot seem to agree on anything for his son and my step son. There are no rules in our house and he wants to be free and breezy all the time where as I try to add some structure to our home since my step son will be starting kindergarten in a little over a month. It's a constant battle. We are on our 8 th month of trying and I'm about to throw in the towel. Advice? Thanks!
