Braxton hicks coming often

I've been having them quite a bit, midwife told me to make sure I am drinking plenty of water to prevent pre-term labor. I noticed they were more often after a prenatal massage a few days ago, I guess I had to guzzle even more water than I thought after that.

I'm having twins, two weeks ago I had 10 bh contractions in an hour so I went to labor and delivery just to check. I was going into preterm labor and I was already dilated to a 2. Luckily the meds they gave me worked for a week then had to go back in again for the same thing but contractions weren't as close together and I wasn't dilating more. So they gave me another dose of the medicine just to stop the contractions. And now I'm on strict bed rest but the babies are still growing in my tummy! Ps I'm 32 weeks and doctors want me to make it to 35 weeks

I've had them since I was 19 weeks so definitely not a sign that labour is 'coming' as I'm not 31 weeks and they are just the same. Just your body practicing, getting you ready for the big day - warming up! They are uncomfortable but shouldn't hurt. I sometimes get more than 8 an hour - depends what I've been up to that day, again nothing to worry about just take it easy if you are getting them more often.

Not necessarily- our bodies warm up to labour over a while. It depends how far along you are. 

Normal. I get like 2-3 and hour, and my midwife says that they're just practice runs. She says that when labor begins to rear its head, you'll likely have bloody show, back labor with timed contractions, diarrhea, etc.No worries! :) 

I don't know. I'm getting them consistently now in the evenings after I go to yoga, the gym, or take a walk. Really uncomfortable! How often are you getting them?
