I was not expecting him to act this way throughout my pregnancy.. He's bought nothing for his son so far. Not even so much as a pack of nappies. He's just gotten paid and I've given him a list of things we desperately need to get (essentials..) and he's just told me "I can't afford anything this month. I need a new phone and laptop" IM SO ANGRY! He told me he's spending £500 on his new phone and £300 on his new laptop... It's disgusting.. I'm 31 weeks and I haven't even got the main items for our baby yet because I'm left it down to him, just so he'll prove to me he can actually be responsible! He's leaving it down to me and my parents to get everything. To make matters worse, we've had to live 80 miles apart for a couple of months until we managed to get a flat again. I've finally found somewhere and he's refusing to move in with me and baby because he has a new job where he's living now. I'm proud of him, I understand he's doing the right thing but I've practically begged him to move in with us and find a new job down here. The job he has now is average, it's not a career and it's basic wage. He could find a job down here in no time, he'd only be jobless for a couple of weeks if that!! I feel like he's choosing his job over his baby.. Money is not an issue if he doesn't have a job for a while, rent will be covered and we would still be able to cope fine, so he has no proper reason. I feel like he's avoiding everything and I'm going to have to go through this alone. Any advice? :( I'm lost. I'm so scared about doing this on my own.
