Does tanning help being chubby look "better"?

Any thoughts on whether being tanned will improve the outward image? (Verses being pale and chubby) After trying it out, I think I look better with a little tan....not that I'm [trying] to find an excuse not to exercise ;)

It's really not about you being tan or not. It is everything with you having confidence in yourself.

I do agree that being tan looks better!  A good tan makes you look more streamlined.

I'd rather look chubby than get skin cancer. Or lose weight in a healthy way. It'll come back to bite you anyway because tanning visibly ages the skin. All in all, it's a short term "solution" that ignores very real long-term downsides, if you even accept the social idea than a tanned look is desirable.

Not everyone gets skin cancer from tanning just like not everyone gets lung cancer from smoking. #RussianRoulette

Honestly for most men (mainly myself)  it really doesn't matter if you're taned or not, if I'm attracted to you then I'm attracted to you and nothing else matters.. For me it's about the personality and if you can mentally stimulate me.
