My doctor practice is so busy she can fit me in at 10 weeks but the date didn't work for my schedule so I'm stuck with going in at 12 weeks :-/ not my favorite but I've been feeling pretty healthy so far so I don't think it will be an issue (hopefully I won't be surprised with twins or something lol)

I was seen 2 days ago at estimated 5 weeks. There wasn't much to see yet, but I miscarried my last baby so I'm considered high risk.

There isn't much to do but for 8 weeks just confirm pregnancy and check vitals I would recommend waiting till 8 + to go to the visit

The maternity system in Ireland is so different. Once you go to your gp to confirm pregnancy with a urine test, you'll be referred on to the hospital and wait for an appt. I just got my appt in the mail yesterday for the hospital and I'll be 12w4d (which is an improvement on how long I had to wait with my daughter, I was 14w6d). But I am a terrible worrier, plus I am travelling to Paris to go to Disneyland at 10w so I may pay for a private scan just to put my mind at ease :)

I'll be almost 9 weeks on July 14th when I go. I just want to hear the heartbeat and know my baby is still growing. Last baby stopped growing at 5 weeks 3 days and lost it around 8 weeks. So fingers toes and everything is crossed this time around. Good luck to everyone
