Name pronunciation??!

Question

So I like the name Tobias for a little boy but I'm not liking how it's originally pronounced. Is "To-bias" or "Toby-as" better?? I'd rather it be pronounced so you can hear the Toby in it but I'm not sure... I know it's my choice but I want to make sure it flows properly and doesn't sound crazy lol

If you pronounce the Toby then I feel like it sounds like you're saying Toby ass. Just my personal opinion. Love Tobias tho.

If you like to hear 'toby' then I'd suggest to just name him that. Agree that the other way felt like people would just think Toby ass. 😁 good luck

I wanted to name my baby Tobias but the husband wasn't convinced, just because of the pronunciation in English! "Toh bee es" would be how I would pronounce it if we had stuck with the name

My nephew is named Tobe (toe buh). That might be another option.
