I'm 36 weeks with my first pregnancy today and I don't feel overly huge, or remotely immobilized by this pregnancy. I am hoping my daughter comes on her own around 40-41 weeks so she has good feeding reflexes and has a strong neurological system. I plan to work until then, full time, as a night shift nurse doing three 12 hour shifts a week, and cannot foresee leaving early for any reason. I have gestational diabetes that I have managed completely with diet and her size is appropriate for how far along we are so I see no reason to go early.
