Changing Doctors..

Have Any of you mommies to be, or mommies ever had to change your doctor during pregnancy?

How long does it take?

I went in to the doctor I would like to see 3 weeks ago and signed some forms for them to get my records from my old doctors office. A few days later I got a call from my old doctors office to confirm that I was changing my prenatal care to another clinic. Only problem is it took me another week and a half to even get ahold of my original doctor (which is part of the reason I wanted to schange offices, they are very rude and unprofessional, and the least bit helpful with my first pregnancy)

I am now still waiting to hear from the new doctor to schedule me an appointment being that I'm 11 + 3 .

I feel like I don't have a doctor at all right now.

How long does it normally take to switch doctors? Should it be taking this long ?
