So I had my ultrasound today after a week of clomid and a week and a half of menopur the injectable medication. I have two follicles growing nicely. One is 12 mm and hopefully by monday it will be 18 mm which is the size they want .The other is a little smaller but progressing. She said my uterine lining looks "great"! That was good news 😊 Unfortunately because of my fibroid the other ovarie is really hard to see and get a good look but hopefully there is a follie or two there as well. Next step is another ultrasound monday and hopefully my <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> Tuesday. The nurse practitioner said I am right where they want me to be. She did prescribe me 3 more days of menopur. What I dont get is; how do they know I wasn't making a follicle on my own? She said normally with no meds you only have one follie. So I am a little confused how my chances are higher with meds. I mean I know they wash the sperm for the <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> so you get the good stuff without all the gunk. I dont want to get to far ahead of myself but I dont know I just hope this works . I read mostly dissapointing information about <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> and how it boils down to chance. If thats true why am I paying all this money if its just like doin it on your own with no meds?! Despite what I have to say I am hopeful.
